Bankruptcy
After the bankruptcy law changed in October 2005, many people developed the false impression that it is now impossible to file bankruptcy. While the process is more in depth, costs more money, and requires a lot more information being given to the United States Trustee, bankruptcy is still a very viable alternative to debt resolution. You may still file bankruptcy if you have a garnishment on your check, a pending foreclosure, an automobile repossession, or you are sued.
If you have any questions, please feel free to call and set up an initial consultaion. There is some paperwork you must review before we can discuss your alternatives with you, and then we will give you an honest appraisal of what we believe are your alternatives. If we do not feel you need to file bankruptcy, we will tell you. We prefer building relationships with our clients as opposed to simply seeking a fee.
